Enjoy a guided 18-km hike through the longest and most impressive of Europe’s
limestone gorges down to the Libyan sea. We leave early in the morning and pass
several beautiful villages to reach the plateau of Omalos. This hike, which lasts
approximately 6 hours, will take us along a breathtaking and constantly changing

swim, as well as lunch at one of the local tavernas. After a short boat trip to the
nearby port of Sougia, you be will be transferred back to Chania.
Your knowledgeable English speaking guide will give you the chance to experience this
must-see natural phenomenon at a slower pace. The guide will also be available to
assist and answer questions through out the journey.
Please note that for your safety and pleasure, you are fit enough to hike the entire
